Grace in Accountability

Grace is the divine nature, character and ability of God to finish what He has started. We see God's grace revealed in the beginning when He finished His work and said that it was good and then He entered into His rest. The progressive revelation of Grace at its core, is the belief that God's grace, was first revealed in the beginning, manifested throughout the Old Testament as mercy, and its manifestation was prophesied through the prophets of old but was revealed in bodily form in Jesus Christ.

“The sacrifice of Jesus Christ, was the initiation of grace into

humanity and offered redemption, justification, sanctification and reconciliation to all.”

Furthermore, we believe that each person has been chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before Him and adopted into the family of God wherein each child in the kingdom is empowered by God's grace to function with His unction as a new creation empowered by His Spirit and enabled by His gifts from the finished work of the cross, thereby bringing transformation to all of creation which is according to the will and purposes of God.

What is Grace?

In Essence, grace can be defined as the Goodness of God. We believe that it is in experiencing God's goodness that a child of God can stand strong in identity as a Huios son and His grace empowers him to live and function on the Earth.

The Revelation of Grace

This perpetual revelation of Grace has been passed down from the early apostles to the saints of old, through the desert fathers and the modern day fivefold ministries and is stewarded by a culture of grace within the church in our day.

Accountability in a Grace Culture

Accountability in a grace culture is defined as a choice to be vulnerable, submitted and open to a team or a group of people that relate and function together within a church community. The team's ethos is based on relating with one another from the core values of Mercy,

Kindness, Patience, Tolerance, no condemnation, no guilt or scandal which creates a perpetual grace culture of the goodness of God.

These core values, that are based on the Apostle doctrine, and when it’s lived out through genuine relationships will create a safe, trustworthy

and a truthful environment for a Leader/ Pastor to be vulnerable, have the freedom of interpretation of scripture, communicate with passion and integrity and submit to wise counsel

While many in their past have experienced control, manipulation and a lack of freedom within the confines of church leadership structure, this has dampened free will, productivity, creativity and hence hindered the advancement of the Kingdom.

The will or the desire of man for growth or progress which could be based on the fear of man, performance or pride has led to many creating structures of “yes” people around them that create an eventual self-sabotage within the church community that has led to corporate disillusion, hurt and distrust within the church.

AGC ACCONTABILITY

STRUCTURE

At AGC we would like to present an accountability structure within this grace culture where we recommend every church leader/Pastor to have a team of leaders around them which should include

1. SPOUSE

2. A THEOLOGIAN OR

AN ACCREDITED

THEOLOGY DEGREE

3. TWO OTHER

ESTABLISHED LEADERS

The 2 established leaders, are brought on as an accountability team and empowered to challenge doctrine, facilitate style of ministry and celebrate diverse progressive thoughts of revelation from the core values mentioned above.

They should be those who can continue to vouch for character, ministerial integrity and enable peer-to-peer theological review.

We recommend that each leader and pastor go through a 3-month extensive equipping or an orientation for Senior Pastors of churches to dive deeper into embracing what the covering of AGC is, what it provides and the freedom that comes

with being accredited minister of the gospel under AGC
