“ Today, we sit amidst 11,500 free churches, a dream of God rising up from forgotten dry bones. As we gaze over each of them, not seeing anyone that looks like the other, unique expressions of Yahweh are manifested through Sons and Daughters shaking away denominational walls and embracing each other at one table. Drinking deeply, exchanging bread – The Glory of the Body! Orthodox, Catholic, Eastern, Baptist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Grace, Mystics... we see His facets in all. Each revival is like another glorious adornment of the magnificent bride. Would not the Chief Shepherd cover them all? Truly, the earth is filled with the knowledge of His glory, covering the whole bride like the waters cover the sea ”

The day of Pentecost is interpreted by many with an emphasis on “one accord, one place” without considering the fact that, unlike the tower of Babel, which had a similar sentiment, the redeemed biblical pattern in Acts 2 featured divided languages, meeting the very needs of the different cultures present on this awesome day. The divided tongues assure us that God loves our unique expressions and wants to communicate the gospel through our uniqueness. The divided tongues tell us that unity is not sameness, but authentic unity is different parts of the body expressing themselves in their differences while operating as one whole.

The term 'Apostle' in the context of the AGC, refers to leadership. We believe that leadership is the missing link for free and independent churches. The AGC promotes biblical leadership, playing its correct role in shouldering the spiritual and cognitive load many pastors and leaders experience. This leadership is not about control or manipulation but about guidance, support, and empowerment.
This is a systemic positioning for the sake of the bride. This means that many pastors and leaders try to work out their church vision from their own strength. Being a part of a larger body gives an independent pastor strengthened foundations and covering that help the momentum of the church. The apostolic leadership provides resources of experience and well-travelled beaten paths, reconciling mentor-mentee relationships that were broken due to control and heavy shepherding. Please refer to the page on accountability for more details.

COVERING
The word 'Covering' signifies protection and a commitment to reconciliation. The leadership involved in the AGC has over 25 years of experience in ministry and has had similar experiences of control and manipulation that any church leader reading this might have gone through. This organization has been formed as a panacea to this problem within church structures. The desire to break bread and commune with the thousands of church-hurt and rejected leaders who have given up on the bride is part of the heart of the leadership of AGC.
The original diocesan covering model before the schisms in church history was inspired by God to be implemented in ways that could cover divergent groups. It immunized the church from simple denominationalism, focusing on just one aspect of church culture. The leadership of the AGC has represented this original ecumenical model, which has successfully grown to over 11,500 free, independent, and nondenominational churches globally.

Throughout the scriptural narrative, we see a recurring theme of
God honoring and transcending any model erected
on earth as it is in heaven.
The Garden of Eden was initially invisible before becoming visible (Hebrews 11), welcoming the presence of God to dwell with His beloved creation. When God instructed Moses to build a temple "on earth as it is in heaven," the presence of God rushed into the Holy of Holies upon its completion according to the model. Moreover, the incarnate Word tabernacled among men as a human, on earth as He is in heaven. We have come to realize that man-made structures amount to nothing, but when something is built according to heavenly patterns, God honors, glorifies, and expands it. The desire for free non-denominational churches is to have a family on earth as it is in heaven, celebrating diversity, providing accountability, and authorizing individuals to be everything God created them to be.
Romans 1:20 reveals that God's invisible attributes can be clearly seen in the things that He has made. While many of us may have had negative experiences with previous church structures, our desire is to leave those experiences in the past and move forward towards a flourishing family characterized by fruitfulness and freedom. This family operates as a unified organism, with each member being fully distinct and unique. The triune nature of God perfectly exemplifies what a multifaceted family looks like in full operation.

We are not only made in the image of an eternal God, but also in the image of a triune community. God created us to exist in community (as He is relational within Himself), as a family (as He is family within Himself), and in unity (as He is united in Himself). Just as the relationships within the Trinity function seamlessly, our relationships with one another should reflect this unity. Everyone carries a unique expression of Christ to offer and impart to the rest of the body, with no one being more valuable in the Kingdom. In God's Kingdom, there is no concept of better, only different. One crucial aspect to observe is that the relationships within the Trinity operate perfectly without compromise, argument, or confusion. The harmony arising from their diversity is what makes God perfectly effective.
At the core of comprehending how a structure can function healthily is the understanding that we all are saved by grace, equal in standing, beloved sons and daughters of God, regardless of ethnicity, social standing, gender, giftings.
“There is no longer Jew or Greek; there is no longer slave or free; there is no longer male and female, for all of you are one in Christ Jesus” Gal: 3:28
Any role one assumes thereafter is functional and temporal in terms of an earthly representation that’s serves tow ards a heavenly mandate of an effective, fruitful and unified body. Each member of this body is essential, unique, diverse and gifted. No one’s worth is diminished, each one takes a load of the other in due season and surrenders their gift to Servant Leadership is both valued and effective in momentum and direction; all of which is useless without each members support and
God is all in all. God is one. Yet for us to fathom God’s vastness and character in our humanity we understand God through the triune, familial nature of the trinity. All persons of the trinity are equal in nature; yet when the Father sent the Son, the Son displayed submission to the Father; honour and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. – John 5:19
The submission of Jesus to the Father is temporal; and relevant whilst Jesus was on earth. In glory Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are one. This is the perfection of God's design, the Son obeys the Father not because He is less important, but because He is the Son. Similarly, the Father holds the leadership role not because He is more important, but because He is the Father. Our relationships with one another should mirror this dynamic, with some individuals taking on roles akin to fathers, and others to sons. In the past, the structures that may have caused harm resembled a pharaoh ruling over servants, rather than a father offering guidance,
